Information about The Tall Ships Races Aarhus 2026.

Indhold

The Tall Ships Races is a four-day maritime festival in the harbour areas of Aarhus with thousands of international sailors and hundreds of thousands of guests from the entire Aarhus Region. Admission to the festival is free.

The guests are invited to see and experience the beautiful ships, spend some time with their families, and learn a little about our shared maritime history and future.

The tradition of The Tall Ships Races began in 1956, when the purpose was to bring together full-rigged ships for an international sailing event. Aarhus has hosted the event three times, previously in 2007, 2013 and 2019.

From 24 – 27 June 2026, the world's most beautiful ships will once again compete in Aarhus, when Aarhus is the starting port for The Tall Ships Races 2026 (TSR26).
